Owen Hart has made a living out of beating up large, sweaty young men.
Well, now he’s sweatin’ with the oldies.
And loving every minute of it.
The longtime World Wrestling Federation superstar recently enrolled in an aquacize program at Killarney Pool, where he says the average age of his classmates hovers between 70 and 80.
“I know it’s not good for the image,” laughs Hart of the low-impact aerobic program.
“If the other wrestlers find out, I’ll probably get bull-dogged.”
In town to nurse a nagging groin injury, Hart decided to don the Speedo and try the in-pool exercise program after a trainer with the St. Louis Blues recommended it.
Ironically, his wife Martha teaches the popular program so he decided to pay her class a visit.
“The first couple of times I was a bit of a naughty boy in the back of the class — she didn’t like the heckling,” admits Hart. “I’m a good boy now.”
